Ro­hde & Schwarz and Blue Won­der Com­mu­ni­ca­tions to joint­ly test LTE-FDD and TD-LTE func­tion­al­i­ty

Con­for­mance and Ma­tu­ri­ty for LTE Plat­forms World­wide

Ro­hde & Schwarz - a lead­ing test and mea­sure­ment spe­cial­ist - and Blue Won­der Com­mu­ni­ca­tions - the in­de­pen­dent de­sign house and li­cen­sor of LTE-IP and sys­tem so­lu­tions - team up on LTE test­ing. The com­pa­nies are de­ter­mined to com­bine their key know-how and ex­pe­ri­ence to provide lead­ing edge LTE so­lu­tions for a fast de­ploy­ment of LTE world­wide.

The ac­tiv­i­ties ad­dress joint test­ing of LTE-FDD and TD-LTE func­tion­al­i­ty be­tween Blue Won­der's BWC200 LTE-IP ref­er­ence so­lu­tion and Ro­hde & Schwarz' R&S CMW500. Fur­ther­more both com­pa­nies will be able to provide new fea­tures and func­tion­al­i­ties ear­lier to the mar­ket due to ex­change of pro­duct up­dates and test re­sults. Espe­cial­ly dur­ing the im­ple­men­ta­tion of 3GPP con­for­mance test cas­es by Ro­hde & Schwarz a high per­for­mance de­vice un­der test can sig­nif­i­cant­ly im­prove the con­fi­dence of the im­ple­men­ta­tion on both sides and en­sure suc­cess­ful cer­ti­fi­ca­tion of de­vices ac­cord­ing to GCF rules.
